Puzzle #40 - Diamond Dust (Kropki)

So I made a 9x9 Kropki as a possible entry for Logic Showcase #5. I ended up coming up with a much cooler variant puzzle for my main entry, however, and so this puzzle gets posted now. LS5 results will be out soon, and I'm hoping it did well.

Puzzle #39 - Whirlpool (Akari)

I believe that this Akari is the largest puzzle I've posted yet, at 15x15. Though, because it's an Akari, it solves much quicker and easier than puzzle 25 did :P

Puzzle #38 - Xcuse Me (Akari)

This is a 4 region Akari puzzle. Pretty easy.
Hey did you know that Akari can have numbers that aren't 1 or 2? You can even place 0 and 4s!

Puzzle #37 - Shuriken (Akari)

Akari puzzles typically have all of the white cells connected, but this isn't a requirement. Honestly, having separate interacting rooms can be really interesting and is a theme I'm happy to see explored.
So it turns out my Akari style has a lot of 1s and 2s.

Puzzle #36 - Barred (Akari)

Looks like I forgot to queue my Akari puzzles yesterday. So because of that, you get a puzzle now and another one in a few hours!

Puzzle #35 - Arrow (Fillomino)

Last Fillomino puzzle for now. There are some pretty non-standard deductions in here and a fully diagonal axis of symmetry is also fairly rare.
Please leave a comment on this one if you enjoyed it- it's probably my favorite puzzle I've made thus far!

Puzzle #34 - Counting in Circles (Fillomino)

This would be my favorite Fillomino of this batch for the theming that I spent ages on, but then it turns out I constructed what I think is a more interesting solve path immediately after.

Puzzle #33 - 33333333333 (Fillomino)

33333333333 Fillomino 333333 3333 3. 333333 333 333333333333.
Made at the same time as the other ones, though it doesn't have an axis of symmetry, I still like the flow of this puzzle.

Puzzles #31 & #32 - That Which Hides (Fillomino)

Enough Kropki for now, it's time for one of my favorite genres, some Fillomino! The first of these is to demonstrate a property of implied polyminos, and the second one was my entry for Logic Showcase #4, which placed in the middle of the pack. Here's hoping for a better placement for Showcase #5!
The only requirements were to have at least one hidden polymino and to have at least one axis of symmetry. I have a couple more puzzles I made with these restrictions coming up that I couldn't quite make work before the deadline, unfortunately.

Puzzle #30 - Obsidian Rings (Kropki)

More Kropki? More Kropki.
Another case where the fill forced a lot more dots than I would have liked, or are strictly necessary.

update: This puzzle was broken at the time it was originally posted, brought to my attention by edderiofer. I suspect that after solving, I undid adding some dots by mistake. Oops.

Puzzle #29 - Columns (Kropki)

Sometimes, I wish that Kropki didn't carry the rule that all dots are given. Why not white dot means difference 1, black dot means one is double, and gray dot means neither with no dot giving no information? Actually, I might use that in the future... but this puzzle is vanilla.

Puzzle #27 - A New Krop (Kropki)

I'm not sure why I decided to make some Kropki puzzles, but I did. Here's an easy 5x5 puzzle to get started!
A good place to start, though unfortunately unnecessary, is row 2. Why? That's for you to discover!

Puzzle #26 - Good 2 Be Back (Yajilin)

After a bit of a break, we're back with a new Yajilin puzzle. This is a tough one to solve without trial and error, but I promise you it's well worth it.

Puzzles #1-25 in PDF form

As promised, I've made a PDF with the first 25 puzzles and their solutions. This was a lot of work and I'm not sure I'll be doing it going forward- more likely, I think I'll make an album of solution images offsite and link to that in order to keep the puzzle pace coming.

As for constructions... I've got over a dozen made, even though a few have to wait for various reasons. Reaching 50 without interruptions should be fairly doable. Next up: a Yajilin, followed by some new types to the blog.
